Fall CYO Sports Updates
Fall Sports Schedules
Practice schedules for all Holy Name fall teams are now available: Holy Name CYO Fall Sports 2008 Schedule. The schedule shows practices and pre-season tournaments. Coaches will distribute game schedules once the CYO sends them out in mid-August.

Winter CYO Sports Registration
Register on September 3rd or 4th, 3:30 to 8:00 pm in the Holy Name cafeteria.

Registration Materials Winter 2008-09 COMPLETE.PDF--Contains all the documents you need to register for winter sports. If you did not play a fall sport at Holy Name, this is the file you'll need.
Winter 2008-09 Registration Form.pdf--If you played a fall sport at Holy Name, this is the only form you'll need. We have your Physical Exam Report and other important documents on file.

Tryouts start the week of October 27th, pre-season tournaments are on Thanksgiving weekend and the prior weekend. Regular games begin the week of December 1st (season ends in mid-February).

For winter and spring sports, Physical Exam Reports must be submitted at the time of registration.

Athletes who played a fall sport at Holy Name, and have a physical on file, are not required to resubmit the Physical Exam Report.

Physical Exam Report
Required before taking the field for fall sports.

Your child's Physical Exam Report must be on file with the Registrar prior to any participation in tryouts/assessments, practices, scrimmages or games. Sorry, no exceptions. For the upcoming 2008-2009 CYO seasons, the Physical Exam Report must be signed and dated by your physician--after April 15, 2008.

Still need a physical?

If you need a physical between now and August 11th, DocNow in Troy does sports screenings for around $25. Other clinics may offer similar services.

Spring Sports
January 6th and 7th (these are now confirmed dates). Tryouts start the week of March 16th and games begin the week of March 30th (season ends in late May).
