Hurricane Pep Rally
Thanks to Mrs. Grady, faculty and staff for helping celebrate our CYO Scholar-Athletes and supporting our Varsity Girls Soccer Team prior to their title game.

CYO Fall Scholar-Athlete Awards:
Congratulations to Brooke Sheena & Dominic Devine
A special presentation was made at the pep rally on October 23rd to announce and honor Dominic Devine and Brooke Sheena with the CYO Fall Season Scholar-Athlete Award.  Both students demonstrated hard work, team spirit, and academic achievement.  Congratulations to Brooke and Dominic on a great job!

This award will be a new Holy Name tradition with awards presented each season for an 8th grade boy and girl distinguished in their participation in CYO sports and academics.



At Ford Field on October 25th during the Prep Bowl, our two scholar-athletes were presented their awards amidst other recipients from all across the Archdiocese of Detroit.  Congratulations Dominic and Brooke!

Pre-season tournaments run from November 21st-23rd and November 28th-30th.

Physical Exam Report
Required before playing any sports. Your child's Physical Exam Report must be on file with the Registrar prior to any participation in tryouts/assessments, practices, scrimmages or games.  Sorry, no exceptions.  For the upcoming 2008-2009 CYO seasons, the Physical Exam Report must be signed and dated by your physician--after April 15, 2008.

2009 Spring Sports
January 6th and 7th (these are now confirmed dates).  Tryouts start the week of March 16th and games begin the week of March 30th (season ends in late May).
