On behalf of the entire Hurricane Club I would like to thank the many volunteers, sponsors, and guests who helped make our first Super Bowl Bash such a success.  There were over 260 people of all ages from our Holy Name parish who enjoyed a great evening amongst family and friends.  For an inaugural event that was only launched several weeks prior, I think this was an outstanding turnout and rewarding experience.

Our community is very blessed to have such hard working and dedicated volunteers, for which without their services and time, events like these would not be possible.  The decorations, food, large-screen and HDTVs all made for a fun night.  The game itself certainly helped add to the excitement.

The proceeds of the event will help support the purchase of new pads and tarp for the gym.  The pads have been ordered and will be fitted along the stage to help protect all athletes.  The tarp will certainly help preserve the floor and the new style will be easier to handle.

Thanks again for a great night.  I'm already looking forward to next year's bash!
